Double Cheddar Lunch Sandwich
Ingredients:

- 1 dark whole grain mini baguette
- 1 beef hamburger
- 1 egg
- 1 lettuce leaf
- sprig of fresh basil
- 2 tomato slices
- 2 Hochland Cheddar cheese slices
- 50g Hochland Cheddar Jack
- 1 tsp clarified butter
- salt and pepper to taste
Recipe step by step
- 1. wash the lettuce and dry it on a paper towel
- 2. cut the onion into thin slices
- 3. wash the tomato and cut it into slices
- 4. cut the baguette in two
- 5. heat the butter in the pan, fry the hamburger, turn it over, break the egg into the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste and cover the pan
- 6. fry for 2 minutes, then add two slices of Cheddar cheese and cover again for a minute until the cheese is slightly melted
- 7. sprinkle the bottom half of the bun with the Cheddar Jack shavings, then decorate it with lettuce and onion
- 8. place the hamburger with the fried egg and cheddar on the layer of vegetables
- 9. add the tomato slices, onion and basil leaves
- 10. cover with the top of the bun
- 11. serve the sandwich with sauces of your choice and pickles
