Breakfast cheddar toast rolls

All ingredients
  •  10 slices of wheat toast bread
  •  10 slices of Hochland Cheddar and Cheddar White
  •  50 ml milk
  •  2 tbsp of frying fat

Recipe step by step

  • 1. take ten pieces of toast bread out of the packaging
  • 2. cut the skins off each slice of toast
  • 3. roll each toast out slightly, moisten two opposite edges with milk
  • 4. put the cheddar on all the slices
  • 5. roll each piece of bread tightly
  • 6. press the milk moistened edge of the toast, so it does not open
  • 7. heat the clarified butter in a pan with a thick bottom
  • 8. place the rolls and fry them for 5 minutes, turning them often to fry them evenly
  • 9. after they are golden brown, and the cheese has melted, put the fried rolls on a paper towel to remove the excess fat
  • 10. serve hot as an addition to scrambled eggs or other breakfast sets
  • 11. you can serve the rolls with a soup or as a warm snack
