Classic beef burger in a butter bun with cheddar, bacon and pickles
Ingredients:
- 1 bun
- 1 beef burger (180-200 g)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 30 g pickles
- 2 tbsp mayonnaise
- 2 slices of Hochland Cheddar
- 3 slices of bacon
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 1 tomato slice
BUN (recipe for 7 pcs)
- 499 g bread flour
- 230 ml water
- 51 g egg
- 40 g soft butter
- 31 g sugar
- 26 g milk powder
- 11 g salt
- 8 g instant yeast
- 1 egg yolk for brushing
- A pinch of sesame seeds for sprinkling
Recipe step by step
- 1. Put all the ingredients for the rolls in a food processor.
- 2. Knead the mass on the first speed until everything is combined, then turn on the second speed and mix for another 5 minutes.
- 3. Cover the kneaded dough with a cloth and set aside for 1 hour.
- 4. After this time, take the dough out of the bowl onto the pastry board and form mini buns (120 g each), put them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush the top with yolk, sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 5. Bake in an oven preheated to 205°C for 20 minutes.
- 6. Cook the burger on a preheated grill (any degree of browning, provided that the meat was ground from high-quality beef).
- 7. Place the grilled bacon slices and the Hochland Cheddar slices on top of the hot burger.
- 8. Spread the halves of the sliced bun with mayonnaise, put the lettuce on the bottom, then the hot bacon with burger and the Hochland Cheddar slices, pickles and a slice of tomato.
- 9. Cover everything with the top of the bun.
