3 Cheeses Pizza
Ingredients:
All ingredients
- 250g wheat flour
- 150ml - 200ml of water
- 25g fresh yeast
- half a tsp of sugar
- 1 tbsp of oil
- 1 tsp salt
Pizza Sauce
- 1 can of peeled tomatoes, sliced
- 1 tbsp oil
- ½ tsp salt
- pinch of pepper to taste
- ½ tsp dried oregano
Pizza Toppings
- 100g Hochland Cagliata
- 100g Hochland Gouda & Cheddar
- 100g Hochland Cheddar Jack
- cherry tomatoes
- fresh basil
Recipe step by step
- 1. crush the yeast, pour water at room temperature, add 2-3 tbsp of flour and sugar
- 2. leave for 20 minutes to rise
- 3. sift the flour into a bowl, add the salt
- 4. mix while pouring the yeast slowly
- 5. add the olive oil and knead until the dough is smooth
- 6. form a ball, cover it with a cloth and leave it to rise for an hour and a half
- 7. put the chopped tomatoes into the pot
- 8. add the olive oil, salt, sugar, pepper, and oregano
- 9. stir until the mass is smooth, and simmer for 15 minutes
- 10. shape the dough in it on a to a round cake, flatten wooden board
- 11. put it in a warm place
- 12. pre-heat the oven to 250ºC
- 13. grind the Hochland Cagliata cheese on a thick mesh grater or use a ready-made granulated version
- 14. spread the tomato sauce on the dough
- 15. sprinkle with the Hochland Cagliata, Cheddar&Gouda cubes and shredded Cheddar
- 16. put the pizza into the oven
- 17. bake for about 8-10 minutes, depending on the type of the oven
- 18. take the pizza out of the oven
- 19. add halves of cherry tomatoes, and fresh basil leaves
