Double Cheddar Lunch Sandwich

All ingredients
  •  1 dark whole grain mini baguette
  •  1 beef hamburger
  •  1 egg
  •  1 lettuce leaf
  •  sprig of fresh basil
  •  2 tomato slices
  •  2 Hochland Cheddar cheese slices
  •  50g Hochland Cheddar Jack
  •  1 tsp clarified butter
  •  salt and pepper to taste

Recipe step by step

  • 1. wash the lettuce and dry it on a paper towel
  • 2. cut the onion into thin slices
  • 3. wash the tomato and cut it into slices
  • 4. cut the baguette in two
  • 5. heat the butter in the pan, fry the hamburger, turn it over, break the egg into the pan, season with salt and pepper to taste and cover the pan
  • 6. fry for 2 minutes, then add two slices of Cheddar cheese and cover again for a minute until the cheese is slightly melted
  • 7. sprinkle the bottom half of the bun with the Cheddar Jack shavings, then decorate it with lettuce and onion
  • 8. place the hamburger with the fried egg and cheddar on the layer of vegetables
  • 9. add the tomato slices, onion and basil leaves
  • 10. cover with the top of the bun
  • 11. serve the sandwich with sauces of your choice and pickles
