Beetroot steak with smoked gouda
Ingredients:

- 2 beetroots
- 1 package of Hochland Smoked Gouda
- 2 passion fruits
- 2 spoons of olive
- 2 spoons of soy sauce
- a handful of watercress
Recipe step by step
- 1. peel the beetroots, wrap them with with aluminium foil, and bake for 1 hour in an oven heated to 180°C
- 2. after baking cut the beetroots into 2 cm slices, and sprinkle them with salt
- 3. place the beetroot steaks on a hot grill on a baking paper
- 4. cover each steak with a slice of cheese, and grill for 5 minutes under cover
- 5. meanwhile, prepare the passion fruit dressing: cut the fruits in half, add the soy sauce and the olive to the pulp, and place the pulp back into the fruits as into bowls
- 6. decorate the steaks with watercress, and serve with the passion fruit dressing
