Broccoli Roasted With Cheddar And
Gouda Cheese

All ingredients
  •  500g frozen broccoli florets or 1 whole fresh broccoli
  •  300g Hochland Cheddar Jack
  •  400g Hochland Gouda & Cheddar
  •  1 sprig of fresh basil
  •  salt and pepper to taste

Recipe step by step

  • 1. thaw the broccoli or wash the fresh broccoli and divide it into florets
  • 2. prepare a pot with slightly salted boiling water
  • 3. blanch the broccoli for 7 minutes in the boiling water
  • 4. quench the broccoli in cold water so that it doesn’t lose color, then drain in a colander
  • 5. prepare four small baking molds
  • 6. put 50g Cheddar Jack shavings into the bottom of the dishes
  • 7. arrange a layer of broccoli florets
  • 8. sprinkle with cubes of Cheddar & Gouda cheese and the rest of the grated Cheddar Jack
  • 9. bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes
  • 10. serve with fresh basil and season with freshly ground pepper
