Futomaki creamland with crab sticks

  •  ½ nori sheet
  •  80 g sushi rice (boiled)
  •  15 g Hochland Creamland cream cheese
  •  1 butter lettuce leaf
  •  20 g fresh cucumber
  •  4-5 crab sticks
  •  Wasabi
  •  Pickled ginger
  •  Soy sauce

Recipe step by step

  • 1. Peel the cucumber, remove the seeds and cut into strips.
  • 2. Cut the crab sticks into smaller sticks.
  • 3. Place a nori sheet with the shiny side on the mat, rough on top. Spread the rice along half of the nori sheet.
  • 4. Place a lettuce leaf and spread Hochland Cream cheese on top.
  • 5. Arrange the cucumber and crab sticks next to each other.
  • 6. Wrap the roll evenly and tightly in the mat to achieve the desired shape and get even portions of sushi.
  • 7. Take the roll off the mat and put it on a board, then cut it with a sharp knife - into halves, and then each half again into 2 equal parts (until the desired quantity is obtained - 6 or 8 pieces).
  • 8. Arrange the finished sushi on a plate and serve with pickled ginger, soy sauce and wasabi paste.
